Positive: La Melanotte is a lovely place for 1 or 2 nights or even longer. We stayed for 1 week and had a relaxing holiday. It’s in a great neighbourhood, with secure parking and peaceful with great facilities including a swimming pool, and a room with pool table. The house and rooms are very comfortable and beautifully decorated throughout. You will find a warm, friendly welcome by the hosts Jerome and Natalie. Always a great breakfast with fresh croissants, baguettes, freshly made coffee and squeezed orange juice, selection of jam, butter, honey and a large selection of fresh fruit every day.
Negative: The warm welcome, beautifully decorated, clean rooms, the pool, the relaxed feel and option to book a dinner if you so wish (24hr notice)

Positive: It's a beautiful house in extensive grounds within easy reach of the airport. However you would never know this as it's so peaceful. The welcome was warm & our host very accommodating. Our room was lovely & the windows framed by wisteria. There are beautiful shared spaces for relaxing in. It helped us that the host has very good English.
Negative: Not the fault of the host, but the location is on quite a busy road & the arrival is slightly tricky as there are electronic gates. Our host was quick to open the gates & we had our own key fob for subsequent comings & goings. A kettle in the room would have been nice. But we accept that the hosts are very particular about eating & drinking in the room.
Summary: Beautiful, homely accommodation set in lovely grounds on the edge of Toulouse. Suited us perfectly.

Positive: The breakfast was delicious with fresh bread and a fresh squeezed orange juice by the host. People on site were very welcoming. The property looks fabulous. Definitely a nie place to stay.

Positive: We decided not to drive into Toulouse after warnings about expensive parking and difficulty finding a place to park, so instead found the metro was about a 30 minute walk from the hotel so we went into the city by metro. Great plan! Very clean, frequent and inexpensive. Where we stayed we found 2 great restaurants we could walk to so we never had to move the car for the 2 days we were there.
Negative: The breakfast could have had a better selection of fruit, perhaps some yogurt, as we aren't big croissant/bread people and didn't have many options to choose from. It would have been nice to have a magnification mirror in the bathroom too for us girls. Should have been pre-warned as to how to find the house, as the gate and turn into the gate was not easy to navigate to in the rush hour traffic, but once in, it was a pleasant surprise as the house was fantastic and the furnishings excellent.
Summary: Lovely house if you don't need to be in the center of the city.

Positive: Beautiful early 1900's style house that is fairly new on the B&B market. We wished we had another night here! The beds and rooms were very comfortable and we were provided with a baby bed for our baby. Breakfast was at a common table and was simple with fruits, croissants, bread and jam. We chose to have breakfast here as the location is not close to much else. There is parking onsite, a large garden, pool, and conference rooms.
Negative: This was not a problem for us but just a word of warning: the water takes a long time to heat up. The house is very old so if you need a quick shower, make sure you turn on the water well before needed so it has time to heat up! Also, if you need quick access to Toulouse this is quite far out of the way.
